The basis of the entire system is a set of reporting IP terminals located directly in the production proportionally to the number and distance of the monitored machines. In the event of a failure of one of the machines, the operator (team-leader, authorized worker) will log in with his or her attendance card or a chip at the appropriate terminal, entering the code of the machine that has a fault (number, barcode from the notice board etc. according to the particular implementation of the system) and select or enter the type of failure. After the fault is entered, a call-light will flash over the terminal and a new incident will appear in the left red part of the overview screen located in all maintenance workshops (e.g. mechanics, electrical maintenance, IT departments, etc.) as well as in the management offices. In addition, the watch-light starts blinking at the relevant maintenance site (depending on the type of repair entered) and a sound signal is on.
As soon as the maintenance worker arrives at the repair site, he logs on to the terminal, and the incident (repair) moves to the right part of the display and changes the color to green. More servicemen may also sign up for repair and the repair time overlaps shifts. After the last serviceman has logged off and, the repair is moved to the finished incidents, the watch-light at the terminal goes out, and the record disappears from the overview screen.
The basis of the whole system is a database of incidents in production, which has several advantages. These are objective data with accurately recorded times. Error reporting to the maintenance department is immediate including a fairly accurate fault-setting – the mechanic saves time as he can already take the necessary parts with him for the repair.
Business executives then has an overview of the number of repairs currently in progress at any time.
Additional modules are added to this basic solution – warehouse management with a powerful solution of orders management, revisions scheduler (regular maintenance), shifts calendar, an access rights administration module,
Product line assignment
Hierarchical division of warehouse items without limitation of number of nesting and number of warehouses, stock cards (tree structure)
Incoming parts – new, claimed, repaired, from the operation
Release – operation with facility assignment, complaint, repair, liquidation,
Shopping lists (Automatic / Manual)
Searching for interchangeable components, spare parts (different names, different suppliers)
Export function (Sheets to txt / xls)
Entering requests for repairs on separate terminals directly in the production without waste of time
Display (Alarm) at the maintenance workshop according to the type of fault reported
Elevation of the problem – messaging (e-mail, SMS) to senior staff in the case of exceeding the specified time delay (e.g. not starting with repair within 15min, repair time longer than 2h, etc.)
Sorting devices under the workshops/ production cells
Device types
Records of repairs on the equipment
Each device is assigned with revisions (e.g. electrical) and periodic preventive maintenance with a certain time period between two reps and assignment to one of the maintenance departments (e.g. locksmiths, electrical maintenance, IT service)
The module, based on the date of the last revision (preventative maintenance), generates dates for the preselected period (Usually when determining the work schedule of the department for the next working week)
